Restoring hope starts with being see.
Binding Hearts, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides resource navigation, community support, and empowerment services to individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges, addiction, poverty, housing instability, unemployment, and other social barriers.
Our Mission
Help people overcome barriers and become self-sufficient.
Through programs focused on recovery, wellness, housing stability, employment, and economic empowerment, Binding Hearts Inc. works to help individuals overcome barriers, achieve greater stability, maintain recovery, improve their quality of life, and become more self-sufficient.
Our Approach
Supporting the whole person.
Our approach supports the whole person—mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually—while connecting people to resources and opportunities that can help them build stronger, healthier futures.
Mentally
Honoring each person's mental health and recovery journey with patience and respect, not judgment.
Physically
Meeting basic, tangible needs — food, clothing, shelter — as the foundation everything else is built on.
Our Method
Navigate, connect, provide, refer — then stay.
We connect individuals with food and clothing assistance, housing and shelter resources, financial assistance programs, mental health and recovery support, employment and job-readiness services, career training, and basic-needs resources. We also provide care packages of food, clothing and toiletries. When a need falls outside what we offer directly, we refer to trusted local and national organizations so no one is left without a path forward.
Socially
Rebuilding community and connection so no one has to navigate hard seasons alone.
“Whether someone comes to us in crisis or simply looking for direction, our role is the same: listen first, then help them find and use the resources that fit their specific situation — today, and as their needs change.”
Spiritually
Restoring a sense of hope, purpose, and self-worth alongside practical support.
